Chicken Karaage Curry Don

Ingredients

  • Chicken & Main Ingredients
    • 200 grams Chicken Karaage​Tyson Chicken Karaage

    • 200 grams Japanese Rice / Jasmine Rice

    • 2 pieces Japanese Curry Cubes (prepared as per instructions on pack)

    • 150 grams Carrot (Large Dice)

    • 150 grams Potato (Large Dice)

    • 100 grams White Onion (Large Dice)

    • 350 ml Water

    • 50 grams Pickled Ginger (Optional)

    • 5 grams Spring Onion (Thin slice)

Cooking Instructions

  • Cook rice and keep it warm.
  • Add carrots and potatoes to 350 of cold water and bring to a boil on high heat.
  • Once water comes to a boil, add in onion and Japanese curry cubes.
  • Reduce heat to medium and stir occasionally for 8-10 minutes or until sauce has thickened. Reduce heat to low and keep warm.
  • Prepare Chicken Karaage as per instructions on pack.
  • Place the Chicken Karaage on top of rice and spoon curry on top as desired.
  • Garnish with spring onion and pickled ginger as desired.
  • Serve and enjoy!
